Health System Approaches to PE Roll-Ups of Key Medical Staff (Advanced).\u201d This session will examine challenges hospitals face when competing or contracting with private equity (PE) and presents novel collaboration models for hospitals, private equity and physicians. Presenters will discuss:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Emerging PE-physician investments and the challenges and opportunities for hospitals<\/li><li>Key strategic risk areas for health systems<\/li><li>Re-examining existing physician-hospital arrangements when the physician group is acquired and structuring the new financial deal<\/li><li>Case studies on contracting and integration models (co-management agreements, ambulatory surgery center joint ventures, service line ventures, JV MSO models and other complex collaborations)<\/li><\/ul><p>At 9:45 a.m. on June 27, Ed Brooks will co-present \u201cThe Roles and Responsibilities of In-House and Outside Counsel in Resolving Healthcare Disputes.\u201d The panel will discuss best practices in managing disputes before and during litigation in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and the courts.
